So recently we purchased approx. 10,000 records that came to us in over 100 taped U-haul boxes.  We got them from a gentleman who only collects 45's.  He purchased them from another gentleman who bought out the contents of a storage locker.  These boxes were filled from that storage locker by the man we bought them from and then purchased by us.  Beyond pulling a few to show us some of the better ones he had found, he told us he hadn't gone through them. Here's the boxes when we purchased them. We've open perhaps a dozen of the 100+ boxes and have been listing the better ones that we find, but it is obviously a lot of work.  We thought another way to go might be to sale the unopened boxes for a flat rate at a price that gives us a profit but not so high that the buyer is taking too much of a risk. And make no mistake it is def. a risk to buy these boxes.  Each box IS NOT filled with Led Zep's and The Beatles (although we have found a few of each) The boxes we have opened have a lot of junk and unsellable stuff.  But hidden among all the Herb Alpert's and Johnny Mathis there are rock and jazz records that are worthwhile.  The amount of good vs. bad varies in each box.  I can not promise you what is inside.  I CAN promise you that we have not gone through them. They will be shipped to you unopened. We've been on Ebay for 16 years and our feedback speaks for our honesty.  Having said that, you are buying them AS IS.  I can only promise they are filled with approx. 100 records. Record styles we have found run the gamut from rock to ez listening and everything in between.  Years are from late 50s to early 90s.  Many are from the 70s.  Quality runs from poor to near mint.  We have found a few records that are sealed.  You can also look at all of our other current record auctions to get a feel of the records we have been finding that are worthwhile to post. If you do like what you find and want to buy more than 1 then I can offer you a discount on multiple boxes.  If you buy 5 or more than I can knock it down to $80 a box.  Buy 10 or more and I can make it $70 a box.  I suggest you buy 1 box to see if you think it's worth the price.  If you do and then want to buy more I will count the 1st box as part of your second multiple order so you'd only have to buy 4 to get the price down to $80 a box. Each box measures 16 by 13.5 by 13.5. Each box weighs approx. 60 pounds and will be shipped media mail.
