"An Introduction to Florida Bird Songs" First prepared as a 78 RPM disc by Byrl J. and Peter Paul Kellogg in 1949, this High Fidelity 33-1/3 RPM (small size, 7") record is in excellent condition as is its sleeve, sketched from life at its nest by George Miksch Sutton. As well as the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker, recordings include Mockingbird, Cardinal, Florida Wren, Blue Jay, Boat-Tailed Grackle, Florida Sandhill Crane, Limpkin, Barred Owl and Chuck-Will's Widow. The recordings were made in the wild by Dr. Peter Paul Kellogg assisted by Dr. Arthur A. Allen, David G. Allen, Byrl J. Kellogg, and James T. Tanner. The Barred Owl was recorded by Norma and Jerry Stillwell. Comments on the record are by the late Arthur A. Allen. Produced by Peter Paul Kellogg in cooperation with the Laboratory of Ornithology Library of Natural Sounds at Cornell University.
