                             JIMI HENDRIX "IN THE WEST" RARE 1971 ORIGINAL PRESSING POLYDOR 2302018 DELUXE
A genuine 1971 original first pressing - not a re-press. Live tracks from the Isle Of Wight (including the famous "man with the guitar" intro), San Diego & Berkeley with the tracklist on the inside sleeve giving (apparently) correct date, venue & personnel, but incorrect running order - labels are correct! See photos for tracklist / personnel.

I cannot identify a single mark on the vinyl, it's absolutely pristine - so much so that I haven't opted to even dip it myself in order to preserve its fidelity! It really does appear brand new as I can't even see any spindle marks around the centre hole on either side. The plastic-lined paper inner sleeve has discoloured a little round the edges in line with its age. The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition also; the edges have the expected "shelf wear" and a couple of drop-outs but the spine is fully readable. Internally it is unmarked save for some extremely minor brown discolouring (I think it's called "foxing"?) only visible, barely, on the white section.  Considering it's now 43 years old this is an exemplary condition example of a classic Hendrix masterpiece.
