In typically chaotic fashion, this fourth LP was initially touted as the explosive experimental hip hop group’s final release - though the appearance of further material has since cast doubt on those claims.

Regardless, The Powers That B represents by far the trio’s most ambitious project to date.

A double-LP, it features two markedly different collections of tracks, with LP1 entitled Niggas on the Moon and LP2 Jenny Death.

Leaked online last summer, the former is characterised by chopped Bjork vocal samples, while the latter includes guest slots from Tera Melos’s Nick Reinhart and former schoolmate Julian Imsdahl.

They may be musical marmite, but one thing that is for sure is that Death Grips are impossible to ignore.
