This is The Unique Thelonious Monk on Riverside RLP 12-209, microgroove, Hi Fi, with original white label with blue reels, recorded in 1956 in New Jersey. Monk is playing his personal treatments of great jazz standards with Art Blakey and Oscar Pettiford. Cover is VG condition but has edge wear, a 9" seam split on the bottom and 4" opening int he middle of the side edge. Front of cover has good sheen and is fairly clean, back cover is also fairly clean with an inscription in ink on bottom right corner. Vinyl is Good with some visual surface marks and some scratches that play through but in playing, has surface pops and background noise throughout.
