Hello!

Up for auction is my mum's Vinyl LP - The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds.

Label & year : Original Rainbow Capitol T 2458 LP , UK Mono 1966. I understand that this is a rare 1st Press, but I'm not a record expert so please ask me any questions!

Matrix's: Side A : T1 2458-1 , Side B : T2 2458-1  (Again, I believe this means it is the earliest rare 1st press edition). 

My mum says this is Brian Wilson's masterpiece and that this is one of the very best albums in existence! I'll take her word for that, but as she's gone all 'modern' she's bought this on CD and sold her record player, hence the auction!

This comes in it's original sleeve which I consider to be in excellent condition for its age. No tears etc. It says 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending'. 

The rainbow Capitol labels on the LP are both in great condition - again, no tears or damage. Please see photos. 

The LP itself looks very good - nice and bright and shiny black! There are some very light scratch marks, which are hardly visible, but nothing serious as you can see from the photos. My mum said it plays well - no skips, hops, or sticks. Like all records, it has just the lightest crackle in places.
