The time has come to loose off my (30 Year) collection of the Ska, Rocksteady, Early Reggae, Roots and BOSS 90's (DANCEHALL) Reggae. I don't play them as much as I used to and I would like to know they are being enjoyed and played rather than sit in boxes gathering dust. I am NOT a record dealer … I am and always have been a collector so I won't be splitting hairs on vinyl condition.I have recorded both sides, (SOUND FILES BELOW) , so as far as I am concerned the condition is what YOU say it is rather than what I believe it to be. I WON'T be listing 'Label/Sleeve' condition. What you see/hear is what you will get.
I started collecting in the early 1980's with the Ska, Rocksteady, Early Reggae and the Roots and continued to collect the 'Black Gold' until around 2005. Fortunately for me I have family members who were ORIGINAL London, (Camberwell), Mods, Suedeheads and Reggae lovers so I have relied on their knowledge over the years to help direct me as to what were the BOSS sounds and styles of the 1960's and 1970's.
The 'Golden Age' of 1993 - 2000 was my most active period,Every Thusday, (Soundman Day), when the fresh stock came in I was there, (Dub Vendor, Ladbroke Grove) so that is where the bulk of my collection is. I continued to buy the early JA 45's but not as much and when I did my focus was mainly on the Studio 1.

All sound files are Recorded DIRECTLY from the VINYL offered in this Auction, played on a Technics SL1200MK2 turntable and recorded at 64kbr (the LOWEST bit rate) with NO sound manipulation. Listen through each track, judge the condition for yourself and bid accordingly.
