Okay, so I was home sick from junior high, and I was reading an old LIFE magazine about the Beatles. I read about the butcher cover and dug out my LP of Yesterday & Today. It looked like a paste over, so I put the tea pot on the boil and peeled off the cover. This was a record I bought at a thrift store or yard sale. I was thrilled. I had found buried treasure.
The steam job only lifted off a little of the butcher cover, as you can see.
The spine ( where the title is) is split all the way down, the other sealed sides have splits and the cover is almost all the way off.
The inner sleeve may not be original, but it is capital and pictures the replacement Yesterday & Today LP.
The album is only so-so, but then you really aren't looking at this listing because you are looking for a vinyl record, right? Also I just noticed that the record states "stereo" so it is not the original vinyl for this cover.
Rare, scarce blah, blah blah...you already know that.
