Queen
At the BEEB
At the Beeb is a by the band , released on , cassette tape, and in 1989. Subsequently, it was released in 1995 in the under the title Queen at the BBC on and as limited edition picture disc .
The album comprises tracks recorded in two sessions for the Sound of the 70s programme. The first four tracks were recorded on 5 February 1973; the rest were recorded on 3 December 1973.
All but one track appeared on the album ; the exception is "Ogre Battle" which appeared on . However, the versions featured onAt the Beeb are different from the original versions, being closer to the songs as performed live. This is most notable on "Ogre Battle", as it starts right away with its riff (without any long intro), does not have any effects that the version on Queen II has and sounds much less polished. The BBC version of "Ogre Battle" did originally have a long intro featuring a grand guitar build up. It was not used for this release, allegedly because the original tape was damaged.
The vinyl appears to have never been on a turntable as there is still quite a lot of excess vinyl still in the spindle hole from manufacture.
The matrix numbers are BOJLP001 A-1/BOJLP001 B-1 with MB and cTS in the runoffs
The sleeve looks to have no damage or wear save from very minor folding to the top left quadrant

OOOOOOOOOOO I do not charge for packaging BUT that does not mean I do not package properly.
I despair at some of the records I receive through the post without any 'fragile' or 'do not bend ' stickers on the record, or even any more packaging than BROWN PAPER with a name and address and nothing else I package records properly with proper thought to the process of sending a fragile easily bent and therefore ruined 12" record I will take the record out of its sleeve and enclose both sleeve and vinyl within a plastic sleeve, enclose that within at least 2 good quality cardboard stiffeners, put extra cardboard at the corners to prevent any edge and corner bends, finally I will enclose all that into either a top quality heavy cardboard mailer or a good quality mailing box with a good amount of bubble wrap and strengthening cardboard.
All of the above is free !! My postage charge for despatch within the UK is £4.50 for 1 single disc
£2 for a single 7” record
£6 for 2 12” discs (or a double album)
And £3 for 2 or more 7” singles
These prices are what the post office will charge me for 1st class signed for delivery
and I will not compromise on this by sending 2nd class or not signed for
and
I do not make any profit on the actual postage costs
Please contact me for combined postage for more than 2 records
