DG 2740 127 Made in Germany / Beethoven/Brahms/Tchaikovsky/Sibelius: Violin Concertos / Christian Ferras(violin) / Berlin Philharmonic / Karajan.

All three near mint records have a nice shine and clean labels with minimal spindle marks. The records are in plain white inner each of which has the record number written on the top as seen in the photo. The box is in great condition apart from the bottom which has two split corners and a small section of damage(please see photographs). The corners have been carefully reglued and are now fine but need to be treated with respect. The booklet is in excellent condition.

The records have been carefully played and listened to. They all play great with no clicks or ticks, just the odd dust pop.

I fully play all the 'Buy It Now' records listed in my shop as I do not understand how anyone can accurately describe a record without doing so. Many mint looking records do in fact have problems and can sound awful. Conversely some early records with marks can play superb because of the deeper grooves.

Grading:
Mint means factory sealed and therefore unplayed.

Near mint record means there are no visible signs that the record(s) have been played and no visible marks at all on the record. The record will have been fully play checked and there will be no audible faults.

Excellent means there are one or more light marks that do not affect the sound quality. The record will be fully play checked and the marks will be described.

Sleeves are carefully described and photographed.

Box sets and large numbers of records:
For box sets count the number of records in the box and add another LP for the extra weight of the box.  Some box sets have a heavy libretto or booklet so may weigh more.
