Black vinyl repress - Since emerging on the now defunct Sandwell District label towards the end of its lifespan in 2011, elusive techno producer Rrose has moved onto their own label, Eaux. This 12”, which is really like a mini-album in length, trades in dark, sinister electronics. Stylistically, Rrose moves through ambient tracks to straight-up club movers, ranging from ‘Curl’, a drone cut that chugs along with assembly line-like reliability, to ‘Purge’, a paranoid dancefloor track that gradually envelopes the listener in discordant noise.
