This listing is for the following job lot of seven Gilbert & Sullivan LPs on the well-regarded Decca label:

Princess Ida (2 lps) EX+/EX+/VG+/EX-

Trial By Jury EX+/VG

Patience (2 lps) EX+/EX+/NM/NM

Ruddigore (2 lps) EX-/EX-/VG/EX-

Please see pictures for information on Conductors/Orchestras/Players etc.

I haven't played these records so the above grades are based mainly on visual appearance. Cover grade is first then vinyl (for 2 lp sets the first two are the covers and the second two the vinyl). There is a prominant surface mark on 'Trial By Jury', hence the lower grade,  but I checked it and it is non-sounding.

I'm afraid I can't offer any definite guarantee as to how these will play but they are mainly in excellent condition so should play fine.

The records will be sent securely in a cruciform mailer.

If you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase or disagree with my grading then please contact me before leaving feedback or using the resolution centre and I will do my best to resolve the matter. I want buyers to be happy with their items and offer a no quibbles refund if the item is not as described. I strive to offer excellent, friendly and helpful customer service.

I have other records for sale so feel free to have a look round my shop!

If you have any questions then please ask.

I use the following grading system:

NM Near Mint - the vinyl looks in immaculate condition with few signs of having been played and the sleeve looks almost new with crisp edges and no wear or tear or fading of colours.

EX+ Excellent - The vinyl is in excellent condition with barely any visible surface marks. The cover has only very minor wear and tear and still looks nearly new.

EX Excellent - as EX+ but with a couple of hairline marks. Slightly more scuffing on the sleeve, but still very minor.

EX- As EX but with a few more hairlines/paper scuffs. Cover still excellent but with the odd corner or edge scuff or small crease.

VG+ Very Good Plus - Vinyl will show more signs of play and include a few surface marks and lines which may produce some light clicking on a couple of the tracks or some background crackle. Sleeve will have some wear and tear like light scuffs, slight ringwear or discolouration.

VG Very Good - As VG+ but with slightly more visible lines and marks. Sleeve will have slightly more wear and tear etc, slight discolouration, maybe even a small, light biro mark or a deletion cut or hole.

VG- As VG but again slightly more in the way of lines and marks. More pronounced wear and tear or marking on the sleeve.

G Good - The vinyl shows signs of heavy play and will have a lot of surface marks, including some light scratches, which may produce louder clicking and crackle and possibly jumps or sticks on some of the tracks. There could be slight distortion or sound deterioration. The cover will have numerous defects such as creasing, ringwear, tears, discolouration, writing and scuffing but will still generally be intact.
