This auction is for an exceptionally rare and impossible to find original EXPORT pressing of the Beatles LP 'The Beatles' Second Album' on the yellow / black UK Parlophone label!

This LP was originally released in America on the Capitol label but was also pressed in tiny, tiny quantites by Parlophone in the UK specifically to export to various European countries. The C prefix to the PCS catalogue number is indiciative of this album originally being a Capitol release.

Copies of this album were manufactured in tiny, tiny quantities and, today, you just never find them. I've been collecting Beatles records for over 20 years now and this is the first copy I've ever seen, let alone offered. The 1/R 1/R stampers indicate that this was one of the first few hundred off the production line and I doubt more than a few thousand were ever pressed overall.

This might well be your only chance to add this mega-rare record to your collection!!

The Cover : VG+

The cover is looking really nice and clean with just a little, usual wear and teat. The front cover is clean with a lovely, rich colour to it and just rubbing on the laminate. There's some creasing in the laminate - mostly around the edges and some around the mouth edge. Top and bottom seams are holding tightly with no splits or tears. The spine has a few little creases running through it but, overall, is holding perfect with no wear or splits and with all the text fully legible. The back has creamed slightly and has a few light stains - mostly from handling near to the spine and mouth edges. There's a Swedish address written at the top as you can see in the photo. Overall, though, the back is looking very nice and with overflaps that have some light creasing but are still stuck tight. Very nice cover, overall!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD+

The playing surface has a good shine to it but sadly is covered in light scuffs and slightly heavier looking scuffs, light scratches and surface marks. There's nothing deep or gougy, though Side 2 looks like it has a few more marks than side 1.
.

Labels : VG

The labels are both clean and clear of any writing, stickers etc. There is some rubbing, scuffing and wear as you can see in the photos above and has a fair amount of light spindlwear and some whitening around the centrehole. Decent labels!
