Plume Latraverse is not easily labeled.....he's a top-notch guitarist, composer, troubador, bluesman, folkster & trippy rocker .......but perhaps above-all, an eclectic poet and out-spoken critic, ......who's music and biting lyrics are more often censored than not.

Plume is probably the most influential name in the Quebec counterculture of the 70s & 80s....often cited as French Canada's Frank Zappa.

 

Plume kicked off the 80's with this LP while touring France.  Although recorded in France (Studio Frémontel) the album was initially issued only in Canada (December 1980), but eventually saw a re-issue release in France (on Gamma, a few months later in 1981).     Still present here are his trademark contravercial acid-underground lyrics, raw stinging vocals, wicked guitars and Zappa-esque humour & RIO/Avant Prog overtones.
