I am a 45 year collector of LPs and 45s. All of the LPs I have listed on eBay are
from my personal collection.
This is a rare vinyl LP of Roy Orbison's last recorded music. It is titled King of Hearts. The LP is comprised of songs from Roy's Mystery Girl recording sessions of 1988 (completed just prior to his death) but not included on the Mystery Girl LP. It also includes the duet single with K.D. Lang, released in 1987, of one of Roy's biggest hits from 1961.... Crying.
This album was pressed on vinyl only in the UK in very limited quantities. It was released on the Virgin Records label in 1992. It's release in the U.S. was only as a CD. This vinyl pressing is quite rare. I have only seen this offered on vinyl a very few times and the vinyl pressings are only UK pressings. I have seen very few.
I purchased this LP from an audiophile dealer in 1992. I have never played it. The vinyl is in unplayed mint condition.
I have graded the jacket EX only due to a 2" seam split on the upper seam. I received the LP in this condition and I purchased the only copy the dealer had so I couldn't exchange it. Other than the upper seam split, the jacket is flawless. The inner sleeve has complete song information and the lyrics to each song on the LP.
I have stored the LP in a polyethylene sleeve in my collection since 1992.
