THREE TRUMPETS / Farmer Byrd & Sulieman PRESTIGE 7092. This is a deep groove copy with RVG stamped into the trail, and the letters AB etched into the trail as well. The label is a NYC label. The lp has many scratches and marks. Oddly enough I'm not finding any scratches deep enough to be felt, but don't be misled, the visual condition is extremely poor. Due to it's appearance, I was a bit hesitant to test the lp on my system, but I did listen to 30 seconds of each track and the audio sounds much better than would be expected. There is background noise, but it wasn't overwhelming. Since I didn't hear the entire lp, there may be possible skips, but there weren't any on the passages I heard. The jacket fares better than the lp as it grades about VG. The front is in decent condition and the back is somewhat darkened and shows some wear (please see scans). The spine is just partially readable, but looks decent as the blue/green color is constant as only about 1/4 of an inch is chipped at the very top and bottom. I would recommend this lp only as a filler until you could get a better copy or to fill a hole in your Prestige collection. This is an auction for US residents only. No international sales.
