Horace Silver Quintet/Trio BLOWIN THE BLUES AWAY Blue Note 4017 / Both labels have the 47 W. 63rd address. The back of the jacket at the bottom shows the same address. DG with RVG stamp and the Plastylite symbol. The lp has some very light marks, none of which can be felt. Visually I would grade this VG/VG+. There is a some light background noise which can be heard between tracks and on slower tracks. This cannot be heard on the upbeat tunes except a few times during piano solos. I would assign an audio grade of VG+. The labels I would give a VG+. The jacket front has some light ringwear but is in great condition. The back has more ringwear and has more wear in general. The jacket also has a nice centered readable spine. Jacket grade: VG+ (please see scans). This is an auction for US residents only. No international sales.
I do not use EX as a grade. I use NM / VG++ / VG+ / VG / VG-.
