This is a NEAR MINT first pressing copy of the legendary Dark side of the moon by Pink Floyd SOLID BLUE PRISM. Released in 1973 on the Harvest EMI label serial number SHVL 804.
The run out on side 1 ( between the tracks and label ) is stamped A2. The run out on side 2 is stamped B2. This denotes that this IS a first pressing.
I have had this item for many years and have actually never played it. It has been stored away in my collection under wraps ever since. I cannot guarantee that it has never been played but I would grade the vinyl as very very near Mint condition. The posters and stickers ARE in mint condition and completely original. The gatefold sleeve I would grade as near mint condition.j This is a double opening black gatefold cover. Very small 'whitening ' is present on the tips of the corners. Additionally to this very rare and desirable item are pieces of memorabilia which I don't think you'll find elsewhere. The first is an authentic HARVEST letter written to the original purchaser, apologising for not including the posters and stickers and putting the reason down to supply problems and the 3 day week. ( oh I remember it well ). The stickers and posters were sent with the Harvest letter. Also included are ORIGINAL press cuttings from the SOUNDS magazine dated October 28th 1972 and MUSICAL EXPRESS dated September 20th 1975. Those of you that own a copy of the rare vinyl price guide will know that a mint copy of this item is worth £600 , this copy is the closest to mint I have seen for a good while. Well there you have it. A massively desirable piece of Pink Floyd's history in fabulous condition, an original headed letter from their record label and very old press cuttings as well , as a complete package.
This item may be shipped abroad but will need to be insured and tracked as this is a valuable item. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN 3 DAYS AFTER AUCTION ENDS.
