DEFTONES - AROUND THE FUR 180 GRAM REISSUE VINYL LP.
Highly anticipated sophomore album from Sacramento's Deftones. Around The Fur saw the alternative metal rockers further developing their sound. They went into the studio for the first time with produce Date, who would go on to produce the follow up, White Pony. The resulting album was a blunt, aggressive slab of metallic guitars and hammering drums. The rhythm section of Abe Cunningham and Chi Cheng had grown tighter while singer Chino Moreno's vocals became evermore out there. The band plays with loud soft loud-soft dynamics throughout the album to great effect. The success of the album propelled the band to fame in the alternative metal scene.
