THE BEATLES
Please Please Me
Rare 1966 Mono Press with MT Tax Code!

This listing is for a rare '6th Press' copy of the Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me'. This copy features the 'Gramo' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement, and also has the indented (P) dates, suggesting that this copy was pressed in late 1966. This copy also has the MT tax code on the disc, which is often found on the '66 issue. By this time Please Please Me was long out of the charts and fans had moved on to buying Rubber Soul and Revolver. Because of this, sales of this variation was low and, today, are hard to find.

Comes in a rare large Mono Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve!

Please check out large, detailed photos of this record at the bottom of this listing.

There's just a little laminate rubbing and some small creases - mostly down the spine edge. Top seam is holding perfect. Bottom seam is holding tight with a small rub in the middle. The spine looks a little worn, but there are no splits or tears. The back has creamed slightly but, overall, is looking very clean! Overall, very nice looking sleeve!
