All items, New or Used, are sold on an “AS-IS” basis. Electronic items are tested for intended design and function unless noted as being sold for repair or parts. See below for conditions where returns are allowed.

Payment Terms

 

All Buy It Now payments are due within 48 hours after confirmation of purchase.  Pay-Pal E-Checks are NOT accepted on Buy It Now purchases  Buy It Now requires payment to be completed within 48 hours of purchase.

Payment for Auction Items are due within 7 calendar* days after auction ends. Pay Pal E-Checks are accepted on all auction purchases (including International) and MUST be set up within 24 hours after auction ends. 

For more specific policies regarding E-Check Payments, contact seller no later than 6 hours prior to scheduled end of listing.   

*Calendar days and Business days are not the same.  Business days/hours are  M – F;  8 AM – 9PM Pacific Time (also open Saturdays 9 AM – 5 PM from November 25 to Dec 23) Payments deadlines that fall on a non-business day, are due that day, even if it is a US Holiday.

 

Shipping Options

 

THIS ITEM’S DEFAULT SHIPPING METHOD IS VIA MEDIA CLASS MAIL   

Navigate to shipping to determine which options are available to you. Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express upgrade options are available. (Including International Shipments) Other shipping methods may be available. Contact us prior to end of sale for any costs associated with your desired shipping method, if it is not included in the listing.

IF FREE SHIPPING IS OFFERED, IT APPLIES ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT THE DEFAULT SHIPPING METHOD. Any other service or carrier changes are charged at the appropriate rate.

 

We use USPS on most items. Heavier/larger items will ship via UPS or FEDEX. Depending on package dimensions, weight, and delivery distance from Auburn, Washington. USPS Retail Ground is too expensive and thus UPS or  FEDEX Ground will be used, when applicable.

We are NOT a Drop Shipper (a warehouse that ships items for seller) and we DO NOT use DHL eCommerce, FedEx SmartPost, or UPS Mail Innovations, as items shipped Media Mail through any of the above take 2 – 4 days longer to arrive and still end up delivered by the USPS.

WE RECYCLE.

Please note that your order may be shipped to you using previously used packing material. This may include the shipping envelope or container. This helps us keep costs down when we are paying the shipping costs and when buyer pays, we can keep the costs as low as possible.

All items ship within 2 business days after payment is confirmed when received by 9 PM Pacific Time. Smaller items may be processed and shipped the next business day but large/heavy items and International Orders are sent the 2nd business day. We do not ship on Saturdays, except during the holidays.

Items paid after closing time, are considered paid the next business day.  Items paid for between 9 PM Thursdays -  5 PM Saturdays, will be shipped the following Monday*

*If a holiday or holiday observance by USPS or any other carrier occurs during the 2 day handling period, the order will ship the following business day after regular service resumes.

DELIVERY CONFIRMATION TRACKING

All items shipped by Mezcal28 will include Delivery Confirmation Tracking provided by the carrier.  

SHIPPING POLICIES

We prefer to ship to addresses confirmed by eBay/Pay-Pal. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure the shipping address is correct. Buyer is responsible for items returned and to pay for the items to be re-shipped if an incorrect address is supplied during initial purchase. If a different shipping address is necessary (moving, purchased as gift), please change the delivery address prior to sending payment or contact us using the method described below. If you need to change the delivery address, add insurance, or change delivery method, you may request a change by contacting us through eBay.

PLEASE NOTE: Items shipped to changed addresses or unconfirmed addresses on PayPal are not  protected by PayPal’s program regarding packages sent to confirmed addresses.

Change requests must be submitted by 11 AM the next business day after payment is sent so that we can respond to your request by 12 PM. If changes need to be made after 12PM, please contact us as soon as possible. Once processed, an order can still be changed but there will be a $4 processing fee in addition to other fees related to re-processing your order.

ALL ITEMS ARE PHOTOGRAPHED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.

SORRY, INSURANCE IS NOT AVAILABLE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

RETURNS AND SHIPPING CREDIT REFUNDS.

Returns are only accepted when we ship the wrong item. We will credit the buyer the return shipping when the item being returned is received by us and we verify the item was sold by us. If the item returned was not sold by us, we will not reimburse shipping and buyer will be charged for the return of the item.  Item must be returned with all original packing and using the same service we used to ship the item to you. We will not reimburse buyer who ships with a different carrier and/or service that we used to ship the item to the buyer.   

Buyer must contact us within 10 calendar days after receipt of wrong item, for an RMA number. Items returned without RMA will be held in accordance with the conditions for unauthorized returns (see below). The correct item will be sent to you using the original shipping method AFTER the incorrect item is received by Mezcal28 or a full refund will be issued, buyers choice.

As stated above, all items, listed in new or used condition, are sold AS IS – NO RETURNS. Any item returned to us for any reason (other than wrong item shipped, when accompanied by an RMA number) including incorrect/incomplete address,  Unopened and/or Refused, or opened and returned, will be held for 10 business days for buyer to reclaim by paying the reshipping costs, even if item was originally sold with free shipping offered.  We will not accept any parcel that is returned to us marked “POSTAGE DUE” Any packages returned to us where the carrier requires additional postage, will be refused and the carrier may return the package to the sender to collect. Any items not claimed within 10 business days or returned to buyer, without sufficient postage, will be considered abandoned. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR UNCLAIMED ITEMS RETURNED TO US. (yes, we have actually had this happen)
