Released in 1968, Music From Big Pink was the debut studio album from Canadian-American legends The Band.
A slow-seller initially, the record eventually gained the group a footing, thanks in no small part to a rave Rolling Stone review and the involvement of Bob Dylan.
Now, almost five decades later, the LP is viewed among the defining statements of its era, with the aforementioned publication ranking it at #34 in their 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
