So here we have it a FANTASTIC and ECLECTIC and RARE collection of rock , progressive and PSYCHEDELIC music which I very much doubt you will find as a job lot again on EBAY I have just updated and added more records to the collection

Please read carefully before submitting a bid, I consider the grading as honest as you'll find on ebay! Smoke free home, and cared for very well. Some of these LPs are hugely sought after and among others you'll find first presses on the legendary VERTIGO label... I’m listing these as a BUY IT NOW PRICE of £500including postage

Any questions then please ask????

I am open to offers, so feel free to drop me a line. Best wishes, Neil.

Grading: Sleeve/record. Based on the Record Collector Standard.

In no particular order:

1a just added this MAY BLITZ the 2nd of May VERTIGO record to the lot so you now get 26 records , I would grade the record as G+ with surface noise but does not skip or jump so crank this MONSTER up loud as to not to deter you from this awesome record , there is a factory sample sticker NOT FOR SALE on the large vertigo swirl .outer gatefold sleeve is EXCELLENT minimal signs of wear

1b. Rod Stewart-gasoline alley 1st uk Press same as above sleeve is in great condition but unfortunately the record has been played a lot so will play with surface noise so would grade as good only

1. Beggar's Opera - Act One: original UK VERTIGO swirl label 1Y-2Y first press 6360018: VO price code mark to rear of GF sleeve: G+ /VG+ (un-laminated GF is in very good condition but for a medium sized sticker tear to central region of front), vinyl is very good with some slight hair lines and some slight spindle wear evident, large swirl logo side b.

2. Rainbow - Live in Germany 2LP: original Connoisseur Collection first press DP VSOP LP 155, with original booklet insert: VG+/EX: the gate-fold is superb, the booklet too and the vinyl near mint with some light sleeve scuffing here and there on the outer top edge of the gatefold sleeve this is a MONSTER of a live album and I am reluctantly selling ,This is Rainbow at their best!!!!!

3. Neil Young after the goldrush- reprise label GATEFOLD 1970 1st press l VG+ Sleeve and record unfortunately plays with some surface noise so G+

4. Crosby Stills Nash &Young DÉJÀ VU 1st UK press orange/plum on the ATLANTIC record label VG+/EX

5. Spooky Tooth –You broke my heart so I busted your jaw GATEFOLD . pink rim ISLAND record label VG+/VG+

6. Spooky Tooth –WITNESS , 1973 1st press GATEFOLD VG+ VG- few hairlines that you can hear in between the run ins but nothing to take you away from this awesome record.

7. Deep Purple - Scandinavian Nights 2LP: as above DP VSOP LP 125, again with original booklet insert: VG/EX: as above but the vinyl is virtually unplayed, it doesn't get much better than this!

8. John Lord - Gemini Suite: original Purple label first press, TPSA 7601: EX/EX: lovely GF textured sleeve and the vinyl is virtually untouched.

9. John Lord - Windows: original Purple label first press, TPSA 7513: VG/VG: very nice GF, but with a very small price sticker to front top right and the vinyl retains a lovely sheen but some spindle wear is evident

10. John Lord - Sarabande: original Purple label first press, TPSA 7516: VG-/EX: sleeve is a gimmick window sleeve with secondary window to original inner (EX) unfortunately there is a small tear to the right of the outer sleeve, although this is barely noticeable. The vinyl is once again EX all round with very little signs of actual playback.

11. Colosseum II - Electric Savage: original MCA first press: EX/EX.

12. Uriah Heep - ...Very 'Eavy, Very 'Umble: Original Bronze (later early 70s pressing, as opposed to the swirl original) ILPS-9142: VG+ VG+ small sticker removal top right – amazing album from a class act!

13. Paladin - S/T: original Bronze first press, ILPS-9150: VG-/EX: The sleeve is one of those textured items that don't stand up to much wear and as such the outer elements show some wear with a small ticker tear to the top left of a black sleeve! The Vinyl is, again, outstanding with hardly any sign of playback and/or handling.

14. Paladin - Charge: original Bronze first press, ILPS-9190: VG/EX: The legendary Roger Dean sleeve is EX but for a small sticker tear to the top right of the front. Again the vinyl is virtually unplayed and in stunning condition.

15. Santana - S/T: original US gold label Colombia Records QUADROPHONIC press! EX/EX.

16. Santana - Abraxas: original US Colombia Records QUADROPHONIC press! VG/EX.

17. Ramases - Space Hymns: Original UK first VERTIGO swirl 1Y/2Y 6340046, with special fold out GF, VO price code to rear of sleeve: This is a filler only, both sleeve and vinyl are F/F (Fair+ Fair-.) - Although the vinyl will play it is a well-worn/scratched copy and the sleeve suffers from various bits of tape and a large sticker tear right at the foot of the rocket church! But once again a very RARE and hard to find record

18.The moody blues -To our children’s children 1st Press THRESHOLD record label VG/VG light scuffing round the edges and a small tear bottom middle includes picture lyric sheet . Nice gatefold Quality album from the moody blues

19.Renaissance-prologue. on the SOVEREIGN record label has spine damage but apart from that a decent copy VG/VG

Next for sought after re-issues and newish LPs, all are first press and in some cases highly limited editions: All are pretty much Near mint.

20. Cressida – N/MINT Vinyl and sleeve to be honest its mint but I always go with the theory that once a record has been opened from its shrink wrap then it becomes near mint Trapped in Time, The Lost Tapes: LIMITED EDITION Number 595 of 750 pressed with record collector cert. of authenticity as signed by then editor Ian Shirley.

21.Comus - First Utterance: Rise above records LIMITED EDITION and hard to find. Re-issue. On green splatter vinyl with original insert. Played once N/MINT both record and sleeve.

22.Birth Control - Operation: 2008 ZYX music GF re-issue Played once and in N/MINT .all round record and sleeve classic 2nd album from this MONSTER German rock band.

23.Mike Oldfield - Man on the Rocks, recent 2LP prog/rock/pop comeback albumN/MINT once again great gatefold from the master.

24.The KINKS-Village green preservation society N/MINT think I have played this once or twice great gatefold album

25.BRAM STOKER -heavy rock spectacular- awesome record and plays superb audio once again N/MINT all round

So there you have it an all-round great collection of records for you to enjoy or sell on if you have the time (which unfortunately I do not hence the nice bundle), There’s still plenty of profit to made out of these records.

PLEASE NOTE :The records will not be split or cherry picked but sold as a collection , I will post the collection for FREE which will be well packaged and will obviously need to be signed for .

Thanks for reading :)
