Biography
Room is a rock band born in Matehuala SLP in 2013 with the idea of expressing an original concept resulting from experimenting with different styles within the genre such as progressive, environmental, and melodic rock, along with its lyrics in Spanish reflecting a particular style within Mexican rock.
The band has prepared their new album titled "Jasónica" production, one hundred percent independent and made at home, takes its audience to a mini trip through the never shady Altiplano Potosino, the backbone of their songs? The fusion of their styles: Irving Rodríguez (drums) and Ismael Medellín (bass) provide the impact and rhythm, Ángel López and Oscar Leos (guitars) mark their place along with David Rodríguez (synthesizer and guitar) carry the fantasy of their lyrics through the voice of Lauro Omar Rocha on a cobbled road but easy to navigate.
It has been successfully presented at the 2016 Progressive Odyssey (Monterrey, NL), Festival Desierto, Alma y Rock Vol. I and II (Real de Catorce, SLP) in 2015 and 2016. A project that will undoubtedly continue in evolution, This material comes to light on vinyl records and digital platforms on April 7 of this year.
