This bootleg makes a half-hearted attempt to pass itself off as a legitimate release by talking about mastering and licensing on the sleeve notes. To be fair they've done a fairly professional job on the cover and given much more information than you usually get with a bootleg, but the plain white label is a bit of a giveaway. Recorded in 1968, produced in 1971 (probably to cash in on the death of Jim).
This extremely rare collectors' item is offered here in very good condition throughout and ships in a clear PVC sleeve.
Whenever I list a bootleg, I always get buyers asking about sound quality. Firstly bootleg LPs were sort-of home-made in small runs so you never get the quality you'd expect from an equivalent official release. Having said that, three-quarters of the material presented here is from a TV studio so it's actually pretty good, the live material (2 tracks) is quite good too. So this is about as Hi-fi as a bootleg gets.
