Up for auction is a rare sealed copy of Charles Munch conducting the Orchestre de Paris in the Symphonie Fantastique of Hector Berlioz. Truly one of the most beautifully recorded of all versions, (and I have dozens), and at 45 RPM, all the nuances come through. This record is a stunning audiophile document, and the performance is stunning as well. In my opinion, no one does Berlioz better than Munch, and of his several versions on record, this is arguably the best one. A must-have for the Berlioz fan, the Munch aficionado, or simply the lover of great audio on vinyl. I have an opened copy of this, which is my test record for all new audio components, and it is beautifully quiet and full of dynamics and punch. I have decided to thin mycollection a buit, so this one is going on the auction block.
Will pack very well and ship promptly.
I can combine shipping. Extra records are $1 each, just ask for an invoice.
