Vinyl is NM (heavy, glossy vinyl, labels clean and bright, just some faint feathering from touching inner sleeve)

Cover is EX+ (VIVID colors, clean and bright, tight and sharp, no seam splitting, no writing, no ring wear, only an edge bump on right edge and light corner wear; owner's stamp on back cover; please see photos as I've tried to photograph to exaggerate the minor flaws)

A beautiful copy of a very collectible record.

This record is from the estate of a West Coast DJ, record store employee, and lifetime jazz record collector who was actively collecting from the late 1940's through the mid-1970's. In his latter years, he became a hoarder of clothing, which eventually covered his record racks... leaving the LPs buried, protected from sunlight (and use) for decades. As such, the records in this collection remain uniquely well-preserved.

This listing's images are of the ACTUAL item you are bidding on. This is NOT a "recycled" image from a previous auction. What you see is what you'll get.

CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS (and follow me over the next few months), as I sell off the very best from this once-in-a-lifetime collection.

Record Grading:

SS (Still Sealed) - In factory-fresh condition.

M (Mint) - I don't use this grade.

NM (Near Mint) - A near perfect, possibly unplayed record.

EX (Excellent) - Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

VG (Very Good) - A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG- (Very Good Minus) - Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.

G+ (Good Plus) - In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.
