Whitesnake is the self-titled seventh studio album by the British hard rock band of the same name, released in 1987. The album produced a major power ballad hit, "Is This Love", along with the #1 hit, "Here I Go Again". The album was a major crossover hit eventually selling over 8 million copies in the US (and thus going 8x platinum). The album peaked at #2 on the US Billboard 200 and #8 on the UK Albums Chart. Its success boosted its predecessor, Slide It In, from gold to double platinum status. Its success would see the band receive a nomination for the Brit Award for Best British Group in 1988. This is the ORIGINAL 1987 US SEALED Vinyl Pressing on the Geffen records label. The catalog # on the spine is: GHS 24099.   The bar code matrix # is: 0 7599-24099-1. Slide It In is the sixth studio album by British hard rock band Whitesnake, released in 1984. It was the first Whitesnake album to be released by Geffen Records in the US, but was remixed for the release there. Because of this, two different editions of the album exists, each with its own unique qualities. It was the final Whitesnake recording to use the band's original "snake" logo.
