MANIMALS - "Blood Is The Harvest"(released in 1985 on House Of Pain Records): A true hybrid of heavy metal & punk, this Cleveland, Ohio "monster metal"/"horror rock"/"horror metal" trio performed in full Kiss-like makeup & garb in a cage onstage(ogle the pix on the LP jacket & innersleeve!! And while you're at it, dig the custom labels!!), was heavily influenced by MISFITS and earlier horror movies, & rose from the ashes of two early-1980s Ohio bands: FURY(a Cleveland Judas Priest/Iron Maiden-style powermetal band--NOT the southwestern-Ohio band that released records including "Sharp Knives, Heavy Chains") and a MISFITS-style punk band whose name escapes me. The liner notes give "Special Thanks" to GLENN DANZIG(MISFITS) and IAN SHIPLEY(of the Cleveland hard rock/metal band BREAKER). In the 1990's, the band re-grouped with a new lineup, released the "Horrorcore" CD album, and between then & now performed the occasional gig as part of the Cleveland metal scene. If you are into "horror rock", I'd like to know whether or not you consider this one of the best records and/or bands in the genre.
I am selling an original, never-opened, factory-sealed U.S. vinyl copy of this private pressing LP. There are a few very light creases on the cover, and one of the corners of the cover is bent/creased for approximately 5 inches; this will not affect the condition or the playability of the disc in any way. In order to photograph the innersleeve and labels, I took the photos that I posted above for those things from opened copies of this record that I had.
I guarantee that the item is in the condition described in this listing by offering a 100% money-back refund(including all postage costs) if the buyer disagrees. The buyer must contact me within 14 days of receipt of the item & the item must be returned in the same condition. Returns will not be accepted without my prior approval. Because I cannot be responsible for packages that may be damaged or lost by the Post Office(s) after I have mailed them, no refunds will be given for packages that are not insured or registered. That is the buyers' option, and buyers assume the risk and the responsibility for any packages sent that are not insured or registered.
If anyone buys more than one record from my current listings, I will ship the records together in one mailer if I receive all payments within eight days of each other.
I've been selling records by mailorder worldwide since the 1980's, and I will ship this record--carefully packaged in a record mailer with protection inside around the record--worldwide, per the following costs for postage & packaging (NOTE: I usually travel to the Post Office to ship records only one day each week--and that day is not always the same--so depending on which day of the week I receive payments, I may not mail records until the end of the week FOLLOWING the week in which I receive payment):
U.S.A.: $4.99 via Media Mail for 1 or 2 records shipped anywhere in the 50 States. $.50 for each additional record shipped in the same mailer. Priority Mail, etc. is available...just tell me what you'd like.
AIR MAIL POSTAGE & PACKAGING COSTS TO:CANADA: $18 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
MEXICO: $23 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: $25 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
When shipping to countries outside the U.S.A., I'll ship per the buyer's instructions for any extras(registration, etc.). In any case, tell me your preferred shipping method. Packages sent to countries other than the U.S.A. may be assessed customs fees by those countries; if you want to know if your country assesses such fees--and if so, what those fees are--contact your country's customs officials.
