Up for sale is my copy of David Bowie's Hallo Spaceboy on rare 7" pink vinyl.
Bought new by me in 1996 in a record store in Coventry, shortly after I bought my first turntable. However due to the hassle of changing speeds on a Rega Planar 2 it was rarely played, and even back then I realised it was something special and worth looking after.
I would therefore estimate that it's been played less than 10 times, which is consistent with the overall condition.
In readiness for sale I've played it once more and sadly it now seems to be slightly warped, with a deflection of 5mm or so. It plays perfectly though, on both sides.
Also there are some small colour imperfections in the pink vinyl which in no way affect play. I am not sure if they are all like this or just my copy as I've never seen another one, but I have shown them in the photos. They appear like a small blue smudge.
Because of this I'm listing it as an auction with no reserve and a low start price.
