An original early pressing of Cannonball Adderley's Somethin' Else, Blue Note BLP 1595.  This is an early pressing with 47 West 63rd NYC labels.  RVG and the ear in the deadwax.  Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey perform Autumn Leaves, Love for Sale, Somethin' Else, One for Daddy-O and Dancing in the Dark.

The original jacket was lost or damaged at some point and this record comes in a plain white jacket.  The record has a number of hairlines on it and it plays with some surface noise in quiet passages and a few soft tics in spots.  For the most part, the record plays very well.  No skips, but surface noise.  I have played the entire record to be sure the description is accurate.

I try to grade records accurately. Most records are play graded.  I will list in the description any obvious flaws or defects.  I play all of the mono records listed using a Miyajima mono cartridge on a Oracle turntable with a Grahm 2.5 arm.  Stereo records are played on my SME turntable with a Miyajima Shilabe cartridge.  I find that mono records with some surface marks generally play fine when played with my mono cartridge.  Not necessarily the case when played on my other table with a stereo cartridge.  So, for the mono records, keep in mind they have been played using a mono cartridge and the report or description is based upon how they play on my table with a mono cartridge.

Quoted shipping in the domestic U.S. is by Media Mail. Quoted international shipping is by USPS first class international mail. Heavier packages must be shipped by USPS International Priority mail. I prefer to combine shipping to save costs.  All shipping will be quoted at the end of the listing(s). Records are shipped in heavy cardboard mailers designed specifically for LP's with bubble wrap or cardboard inserts for protection.

If you aren't happy or satisfied with a purchase, you can return the record for a refund of the full purchase price (less shipping).

Ebay demands that all records be shipped within a specified time after payment.  If you want a record held for future shipping, please email me so I know that is your intention. I will work with you on delayed payment and shipping so we don't run afoul of ebay's requirements.

If you have any questions about the record, please ask them before the auction closes. I will assume that all bidders know what they are bidding on and I will not accept returns becuase the buyer bid by mistake etc.
