Here on Capitol records 370 from 1946 is Ella Mae Morse with her Boogie Woogie Four with "Pie Top Schwartz" along with "Hoodle Addle", the record visually appears to grade a V+ on the VJM scale and plays with no skips or distortion and very little surface noise. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions, I wipe records with a microfiber cloth I do not chemically clean them. Record playback quality will be highly influenced by the type of turntable, cartridge and tracking force used. Cleaning is recommended on all 78's as I stated earlier other than wiping with a microfiber cloth I don't clean them I like to leave that to the discretion of the next owner. I pack and ship 78's between cardboard sheets-wrapped in bubble wrap then placed in a large box with packing materials so essentially the record floats, I combine shipping, with each additional 78 record being $1.00, I am always open to offers and thank you for looking. I use the Vintage Jazz Mart (VJM) scale for grading 78's both visually and aurally, all 78's are played prior to listing and prior to shipping when sold and although I am not a professional grader I do know what I like and I try to grade under. If there is any issues with your record(s) please contact me and we will work out the problem. I recycle and with the cost of media mail being reasonable I believe more packing less breaking. I ship Internationally through Ebay Global Shipping strictly. Vintage Jazz Mart (VJM) Grading-78 RPM Records N Mint unplayed as from the old store stock, very rarely if ever used E+ Plays and looks like new with very few signs of handling, such as scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeve. E Still very shiny near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. E- Still very shiny, but without the lustre of a new record with a few scratches. V+ Is an average condition 78 record in which scuffs and general use has somewhat dulled the finish. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion.Surface noise not overly pronounced. V Moderate , even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V- Quite playable still but distortion and and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages G+ Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled, heavy scratches. G Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level still higher than surface noise. G- Music still prominent, but wear and scratches extensive. F Most of music remains audible over surface noise, listening uncomfortable. P Unplayable
