Condition: Sound clips are from the actual disc being offered. The beginning of the first track on side 1 (track 1) has a sustained tick. The third track on side 1 (track 3) has a little pockmark that ticks a few times. Both sides play well otherwise. Visually, disc is vg (a medium grade), with a few scuffs and a light spotty haze. Spindle marks on labels. Jacket vg+ (wear on corners. looks crisp, in general. great color). See photos.

"Trojak" (The mountaineers sow oats and rye. At harvest time, they gather them in bundles. A young mountaineer asks a maiden why she isn't married.)
"Maryska" (A group of veterans gather every Sunday for a gay time with music and dancing, and they sing about Maryska asking her for a kiss. Two civilians appear at midnight turning the party into a free-for-all while the music keeps playing.)
"Na Srodku Pola" (A young man plights his troth to his love beneath a poplar tree and dreams of his wedding day.)
"Neidaleko Karpat" (In the Carpathian mountains is the Babia mountain peak which is the source of the Vistula river. The saddened mountain stream pleads to leave the mountains so that it can joyfully flow through all of Poland.)
"Bywaj Dziewcze Zdrowe" (A soldier answering his country's call to duty professes his love for his girl and tells her not to weep, reminding her that no greater love is that love that one has for his country.)
"Stokrotka" (A soldier passes a tiny daisy near a slowly flowing stream and with a greeting symbolically says "Your charm overwhelms me, will you be mine?")
"Gleboka Studzienka" (A young maiden longs for her loved one. She kisses a leaf, dropping it into a deep well, hoping that her prayer will be answered.)
"Czerwony Pas" (A mountaineer proudly sings about his costume, especially his red belt. He finds the freedom he possesses in his mountains so exhilarating that he wants to sing and dance.)
"Szła Dzieweczka" (A young maiden wanders into the forest where she meets a handsome hunter who asks her for a kiss.)
"Lączko" (A young soldier asks "Who will cut the meadow grass, plow the fields, water the horses and drink the red beer when I leave home for the service?")
"Cichy Pogodny Wieczór Majowy" (A young girl runs through the forest where she meets a gypsy and asks to have her fortune told. Her fears are dispelled when she is told she is to meet her faithful lover and with this she weeps for joy.)
"Pije Kuba" (One of the most popular drinking songs traditionally sung in all the villages, towns and cities of Poland is this toast from Jakob to Michael to the entire gathering.)
"Oka" ("Is this a dream or reality, the panorama, the thatched roofs, villages and the river Oka?" It is a dream as nothing compares to our Vistula river and its surrounding countryside.)
"Toast" (A toast to our host, his wife, his children and his guests.)
