John Prine is a national treasure. This is his exquisitely written first album on Vinyl LP. You'll find many of his finest songs here. It is the 1972 PR/Presswell Pressing on Atlantic Records (SD 8296). Here are the etched identifiers that appear on the record:
Matrix / Runout (A Side Label): ST-A-712301-PR Matrix / Runout (B Side Label): ST-A-712302-PR Matrix / Runout (A Side Runout): ST-A-712301B AT/GP PR [PR Upside Down] Matrix / Runout (B Side Runout): ST-A-712302B AT/GP PR [PR Upside Down]
VINYL: VERY GOOD+. Upon first glance both sides appear lustrous and quite EXCELLENT. A closer look will reveal mostly light scuffs. I'm a conservative grader so VG+. These scuffs do not interfere with consistently full and beautiful playback.
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD. Shows signs of wear manifested in ring wear, chipping at the corners, creasing on the front left hand side of the cover and back right, and a tinge of discoloration (off white) on back cover. No seam splits or tears. Warner Brothers inner sleeve intact. No lyric insert.
