Grading System 

Sealed

A record that is enclosed in shrink wrap. No grading given on the vinyl. Any visible defects 
to the jacket will be noted in the listing.

NM

Record: A record that looks unplayed. It will show no scuff marks or imperfections whatsoever. 

Jacket: A NM album cover shows virtually no wear, defect or deterioration of any kind on any 
of its surfaces or edges.

VG++

Record: A VG++ record may have very few faint scuff marks from paper sleeves. These records 
have a nice, bright glossy sheen. 

Jacket: A VG++ cover will have only the slightest wear which will be noted in the listing.  
VG++ covers will never have stickers, writing, clipped corners, saw cuts or hole punches.

VG+

Record: A VG+ record has light scuff marks from paper sleeves or perhaps a few 
superficial surface scratches. These records have been played but they have been very well 
taken care of. Playback may have some light noise during soft passages. No pops, static, clicks, 
etc. are discernible over the music. Vinyl still retains a glossy sheen. 

Jacket: A VG+ cover shows some mild signs of use or age but has been well taken care of. VG+ 
jackets may have hole punches, clipped corners or price stickers present which will be noted in 
the description along with any wear. VG+ jackets will never have writing from a pen or marker.

VG

Record: A VG record has more numerous and/or pronounced light scratches. Sheen may have lost
some of its glossiness. Some noise may be discernible over the music but it will not overpower 
the ability to enjoy the music on the record.  VG records do not skip anywhere during playback.

Jacket: Those defects noted for VG+ covers are more pronounced or numerous on a VG cover. A 
VG cover may or may not have some markings on it from a pen or marker which will be noted in 
the listing.

VG-

Record: A VG- record will have more serious imperfections and scratches. VG- records will playback 
with noticeable imperfections that impact the listening experience but they still will not skip.

Jacket: a VG- jacket may have seriously torn edges or blown out spines. Markings, soil, extreme wear 
and tear, etc.

G

A G grade I reserve for records that have a scratch on them which causes playback to skip or click 
loudly on a segment of a record that would otherwise be graded VG or above. Defect will be fully 
noted in the description.

item sent back and refund your payment upon return.
