Andy Williams, born on December 3, 1927, Iowa, made his singing debut at age 8 as part of the Williams Brothers quartet. He started a solo caree in 1952 and had several hit singles, including his rendition of 'Moon River' from the film Breakfast at Tiffany's. He died on September 25, 2012, following a years-long battle with cancer. Moon River and Other Great Movie Themes is the album from American pop singer Andy Williams that was first released in 1962 by Colombia. Included on this LP are three bonus tracks 'Unchained Melody', 'The Bilbao Song' and 'Stranger On The Shore'.
