Brotherhood, originally out in 1986, introduced the brilliant single "Bizarre Love Triangle," as well as the favorites "Weirdo," and "All Day Long." This 2CD Collector's Edition re-issue features the remastered original album on disc one, plus a bonus disc with B-sides, remixes and rarities! Highlights on the bonus disc include 12" single versions of "Touched By the Hand Of God," and "Bizarre Love Triangle," two remixes of "True Faith," and a new '88 version of "Blue Monday."
Since their formation in 1980, New Order have become one of the world's biggest alternative groups. One of the highlights of the band's career was the incredible success of 1983's "Blue Monday", the 12" - only 45 which showed how white groups could make black American dance music their own. It sold over a million copies in the UK and over 10 million worldwide. Their singles album, 1987's Substance, sold well over 2 million worldwide, and 1989's Technique, sold over a million in the UK and the US. In 2005, New Order were the recipients of the Godlike Genius gong at this year’s NME Awards.
