The orchestral arrangements from Gun's debut were gone on 'Gun Sight', resulting in a more basic and less intricate sound but still good enough to make the album a worthly encore to Gun's short career. The opener 'Head In The Clouds' is probably one of the best songs here being a simple and straightforward hard rocker, but with a melody and punch. Gun were fare more interesting and sophisticated than most others of the many late '60s power trios.
