1) FABRICA OCCUPATA / THE WOMAN I LOVE, composed by Giorgio Gaslini, released 1976 in the US by Pausa Records, Los Angeles (PR-7014). Gaslini and his all-universe line-up originally recorded these titles in 1973, with multiple releases under different banners over the years. This particular release highlights Jean-Luc Ponty's involvement. The real kicker is Gaslini's curation of unhinged improvisors Steve Lacy, Tony Oxley, Harry Becket and Paul Rutherford among others. Vinyl = vg+; faint sleeve scuffs do not affect play, sound is crisp. Cover = vg; top outside corner is notched; 2" split on the top of the spine; edges are chipped adjacent to the spine.
2) TROPIC APPETITES by Carla Bley, w/ Michael Mantler and David Holland. Released 1974 by Watt Works Inc. (WATT/1). Vinyl = vg+; clean and glossy, sound is crisp. Cover = vg+; faint rubbing, NO splitting.
3) BREAKTHRU / SOLO PIANO by Ran Blake, released 1976 by Improvising Artists Inc. (IAI 373842), stereo. Vinyl = vg+; clean and glossy, sound is crisp. Cover = vg+; light edge wear, NO splitting; boards are clean and bright.
4) THE CHILDREN OF AFRICA by Dollar Brand, released 1977 on Inner City (IC 3003). Vinyl = vg+; clean and glossy, sound is crisp. Cover = vg+; NO splitting, rubbing or edge wear; semi-glossy finish is intact.
