THE BEST OF ELVIS PRESLEY 10" LP VERY RARE. DLP 1159. Recently acquired as part of inheritance, but I'm not an Elvis fan, hence sale. Tracks include:- Heartbreak Hotel I don't care if the sun dont shine Blue Moon Tutti Frutti All Shook Up Hound Dog Too Much Any Way you Want Don't Be Cruel Playing for Keeps. This is obviously an original release from 1957. The laminated cover is generally clean and intact but with 2/3 small tears on opening edge (see photos). The record itself has a number of surface scratches, but having just played the whole record, these are not obvious and certainly do not detract from enjoyment of the sound and certainly no jumping or skipping. My relation obtained a valuation back in 1999, (again see photo), suggesting a value of between £500 - £1,000, although I accept this particular example is not in "Mint" condition.
