 Art Guy  Where You Gonna Go  7" Vinyl Picture Sleeve with Insert and Photograph. Release Date 7th June 2020
This is an official release of this classic US garage rock song.This was only ever released as a promotional record in 1967  on the Valiant Label. Sadly the Valiant label hit hard times and the song was never officially released until now.
I personally tracked down Art Guy and with his kind permission we have given Where You Wanna Go the attention is should have received 53 years ago.
Included in the package there is a some historical details about Art Guy's career as a musician and some details of the recording. There is also a replica of his original Valiant promotional photo.
The master tapes no longer exist and this recording was made from a very clean copy of the original promo 45.It was then sent to a recording engineer (Matt Saunders of 808hz) for re mastering.
The only difference is that the original flip side "Teenage Millionaire"  has not been used at the request of Art Guy. I was not going to argue !  So instead you have a slightly different mix, the sound has been widened to give it a stereo feel, or if you like a mono plus version.
This song has been on numerous compilations LP's but never as a stand alone 45. I for one have been searching for a Valiant promo for years,they are rare to find and expensive to buy !
Whilst we would all like to have an original this will certainly help ease the pain until you find a copy !  At least you know this was made with Art Guy's approval and for the  first time he has a received a royalty payment for his mighty fine masterpiece.
