Background -

Kunihiko Sugano (Japanese 菅 野 邦彦, Sugano Kunihiko; born November 13, 1936 in Tokyo Prefecture) is a Japanese jazz pianist.

Sugano played in the Tokyo jazz scene with George Kawaguchi's The Big 4 and Isao Suzuki, he also worked with his own formations such as the Kunihiko Sugano Quartet and the Kunihiko Sugano Trio (with Eizō Honda). In the late 1960s and 1970s he recorded several albums under his own name, such as Finger Popping (1968, with Yoshio Ikeda, Hiroshi Yamazaki), Love Is a Many Splendored Thing (TBM, 1974, with Yoichi Kobayashi, Teruhiko Takada, Yoichi Ogawa), Hullo Again (1981, with Satoshi Kosugi, Joe Jones Jr.). Recording with Eiji Kitamura, they made the joint production Collaboration, which was created in 1973 (with Masanaga Harada and Hiroshi Sunaga); with bassist Isao Suzuki he recorded the duo album Sincerely Yours in 1980. In the field of jazz he was involved in 10 recording sessions between 1967 and 2011. The sound engineer Okihiko Sugano is his older brother. - wikipedia LP made by AUDIO LAB Records, in JAPAN LP released 1975

CONDITION Details: The LP jacket is in near mint minus overall condition. The jacket is tight and clean, with NO seam splits, NO cut out marks, NO discoloration. The colors on the jacket are clean and crisp. The corners and seams show some very minor shelf wear, nothing serious. There is a tiny bit of paint foxing due to the heavy use of BLACK on the jacket - see pictures for detail as they are of the actual item.
The LP is in near mint minus overall condition! The LP is in near mint minus overall condition, with no serious marks on the vinyl. The LP is super clean with perhaps a very light spider mark or two and the odd finger print and dust. This is a very nice, very rare and collectible LP item. As this is a vintage LP, don't expect it to sound like a brand new audiophile LP....some extraneous sound is inevitable and should be expected for a vintage LP. The LP retains much of the original gloss and sheen! There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels either.
A Short Note About LP GRADING - Mint {M} = Only used for sealed items. Near Mint {NM} = Virtually flawless in every way. Near Mint Minus {NM-} = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible. Excellent {EXC} = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise. Very Good Plus {VG+} = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always thoroughly clean your LPs before playing them.

LPs can be audiophile quality pressings (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

Do not let this rarity slip by!
