This rating has nothing to do with how the record looks, but how it sounds. We can accept someone not agreeing with how it sounds to us, but do not prejudge it based on how it "looks".
We have had a multitude of albums that were visually nearly perfect, but the sound was poor and a multitude of albums where the visual was poor and the sound was excellent. this is especially true of the older records that were pressed on a much heavier vinyl.
