RARE FIRST PRESSING - JETHRO TULL 1968 GATEFOLD MONO LP - "THIS WAS" - ISLAND ILP 985 Pink Island mono label with orange / black circle eye, laminated gatefold mono cover. COVER:  There is a laminate crease across one corner and a few minor laminate creases elsewhere. The inside cover is unlaminated and clean apart from a previous owner's name in ball-pen. RECORD:   on each side there are a couple of short and very light surface scuff marks that are not detectable by touch. Nice clean looking vinyl and excellent labels. On side 1 track 2 there are 3 very light pops (as opposed to definite clicks) and towards the end of track 5 there are some very light crackles. Elsewhere the record is free of surface noise with run-in, run-out and between track sections "pin-drop" quiet. All tracks have been checked and played in full and at suitably loud volume using a Citronic pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amplifier and Sonus Faber speakers.
