Notes: Record is beautiful - just a few light scuff marks on either side. Color and luster are excellent. Labels look almost new. Each record has been visually inspected. Each record is packaged in a paper sleeve that fits into a plastic sleeve and is then sandwiched between two filler pads and sent in a custom mailer designed for records.
When the description refers to visible scuffs or scuffing, especially if it notes that they are light, these scuff marks have been detected because I look at them with a high intensity light. The marks are, for the most part, not visible, or barely visible when looked at using natural light or a typical overhead light.
Grading Scale:
Vinyl
SS (Still Sealed) Perfect, but could be resealed.
M (Mint): Appears to be factory fresh. Opened, but perfect in all details.
NM (Near Mint): Nearly perfect. No obvious signs of wear. One or two very minor issues like a small scratch or scuff, a spindle mark, etc.
VG+ (Very good plus): Shows some signs it was played / handled, yet well taken care of. Shows slight signs of wear. May have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect listening. Good lustre. Minor surface noise.
VG (Very good): Noticeable surface noise is evident, especially in soft passages and during the song’s intro and fade. Groove wear starts to be noticeable as do light scratches (deep enough to feel with a
fingernail). Perhaps some very slight warping and/or dulling of the surface or very minor staining.
G+ (Good plus): Significant surface noise and scratching. Visible groove wear. Some noticeable warping, but it doesn’t affect play. No skipping or jump-backs. Some dulling.
G (Good): Any of the above are increased. One or two ticks where there is a tiny skip or jump-back.
F/P (Fair/poor): All of the above are bad, it’s warped, and you can’t play it without irritating skipping / jump-backs.

G+: Scratched or scraped, some discoloration, some light tearing. Pronounced fading. Center hole may be slightly out of round.

F/P: Label is barely readable, badly torn, label is missing on one side, perhaps both.

VG: Increased signs of wear, maybe some wrinkles, more noticeable folds/bends. Perhaps some slight tearing or splitting. Perhaps some small staining. No extreme (or close) damage.
