The Jazz Corporation self titled Baby Grand SE 1011 1977 Jazz LP NM W/SHRINK
Vintage 1977 self titled Jazz / Big Band LP performed by The Jazz Corporation (Pianist Ian Bargh, Trombone Player Laurie Bower, Clarinet Player Al Lawrie, Bass Player Don Clark, Drummer Doug Macleod and Trumpet player Dave Johnston). Pressed and distributed on the infamous Baby Grand label. A tax scam label that ran for a period of two years in the late 70s from 1977-1979.
Sleeve is graded as NM with original shrink wrap attached. Sleeve shows minor shrink separation on the front cover and is otherwise clean and intact.
LP has been cleaned and visually graded conservatively as NM with very minor surface wear on both sides. Vinyl is Black and reflective and looks to be in overall excellent playing condition with very little surface flaws. LP appears almost unplayed.
OUR GRADING SCALE IS AS FOLLOWS:
NOTE - Records with gradings "P" through "G" are only listed for sale if the Record is of considerable rarity and value.

P (Poor) - Record will have noticeable to heavy surface and/or label wear (deep groove scratches, torn labels, multiple hairlines etc). Record is still playable, but heavy background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.

F (Fair) - Record will have slightly less surface and/or label wear than a P grade. Vinyl is slightly reflective and the record will be visually in acceptable playing condition. Background noise ie. Static/Pops/Clicks are certain.

G (Good) - Record will have moderate surface wear and/or minor label wear (medium hairlines, minor marking on labels, light scratches etc.) scattered background noise may be present.
VG/VG+ (Very Good - Very Good Plus) - Record will have minimal surface wear and/or minor label wear (Small hairlines, minor label wear, faint scratches etc.) The record has definitely been played but has been well stored and cared for. A medium amount of background noise may or may not be present.
VG+/NM (Very Good Plus / Near Mint) - Record will have little surface wear, but not enough to have a true NM grading. Vinyl will be reflective and visually in overall very good playing condition with minor surface wear to vinyl and/or labels (handful of minor scuffs / hairlines, small amount of general surface wear etc.) A small amount of background noise may or may not be present. A majority of records in our stock carry this grade.

NM (Near Mint) - Record shows almost no surface wear with clean labels and reflective vinyl ( Surface wear may be present with no more than one - three small hairlines on LP total ). Record has been very well stored and cared for and is in almost like new condition with very little to no wear.
MWW (Mint With Wear) - This grading is reserved for factory sealed records that show some mild levels of exterior wear to the sleeve such as bumping, mild shelf wear, shrink separation, spotting etc. The record(s) inside is still brand new and unplayed with some exterior wear to the sleeve.

M (Mint) - Our highest grading. This rating is reserved for sealed, unplayed records in brand-new condition.
All of our records are cleaned and visually inspected under bright fluorescent light to ensure accurate grading. All unsealed records quality ship outside of their sleeves to prevent seam splitting during transit.
