This record came from The Bolder Record Bar in Gypsyville, Hull (this was a family-owned shop – it was run by mum and dad in the Bolder family – whose most famous son Trevor Bolder played bass in the Spiders from Mars with Bowie and Mick Ronson and latterly in Uriah Heep)
When Trevor died of cancer the late David Bowie then paid tribute to his former bassist "Trevor was a wonderful musician and a major inspiration for whichever band he was working with. But he was foremostly a tremendous guy, a great man”
These records originally came from Trevor’s family and had clearly been part of his own collection of vinyl which makes them of interest to collectors of Bowie, Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash especially.
