The item:
The record: I'd grade it about a 6.5 or 7 / 10. Could also be graded VG but not as bad as other VG records sometimes look. Parts of a couple of songs on both sides were tested out - the record has some surface noise to it if you listen close,
But the record is sold as is - it was part of a collection received from the neighbor & is a duplicate.
Side 1 has a couple of rub like marks you can see, a couple of light scuff marks, and several extremely thin light scratch / scuff marks to it, though all of this is hard to see unless you hold it perfectly to the light for reflection, Side 2 has one thin hairline scratch that goes across, & a number of very thin very faint little hairline scratch marks all around, a couple of very light rub like marks, overall more wear showing than Side 1 but still not obvious until you hold it to the perfect light angle - none of the wear on this record is big & ugly, its surface wear that is more faint & needs a light angle to see,
Inner sleeve would be great but it has a clean split at the bottom so the opening of the record could be either end. Beyond that it's a great vintage sleeve, about a 8.5 / 10 not counting the split at the bottom,
Cover jacket is nice & has the shrink on! It doesn't appear dirty or dusty at all, looks great - has a small tear at the bottom on the front side, & a little crease & loose flap on the back side you can see, but beyond that a great jacket, Her Majesty is listed as a song on the back so I do not believe this is the dead first issue but it's easily in the first wave in 1969. The number SO-383-F-1 is etched into the record near the label on one side which matched a 1969 pressing from discogs. Shrink is rather loose than tight so careful use is recommended,
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask at all! I am happy to answer questions, I'm a normal person just like you! I'm here to help you any way I can! Please ask away & make sure it's what you want before you just jump in! There won't be any returns!
