Here on Atlantic records 1026 from 1954 is Joe Turner and His Blues Kings with the classic "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and "You Know I Love You", the record visually appears to grade a V+/E- on the VJM scale and should play with very little surface noise. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions, I wipe records with a microfiber cloth I do not chemically clean them. Record playback quality will be highly influenced by the type of turntable, cartridge and tracking force used. Cleaning is recommended on all 78's as I stated earlier other than wiping with a microfiber cloth I don't clean them I like to leave that to the discretion of the next owner. I pack 78's in a 14 inch by 12 inch by 5 to 8 inch(depends on quantity) double box with cardboard pads and bubble wrap then it is placed in more bubble wrap or peanuts, all single 78's are shipped in a vintage sleeve, if there is a sleeve to match the label that will be used and as for feedback I always wait for the seller to receive the record and leave feedback as then I know the record arrived safely and was as stated in the listing. I use the Vintage Jazz Mart (VJM) scale for grading 78's both visually and aurally, some 78's are played prior to listing and prior to shipping when sold and although I am not a professional grader I do know what I like and I try to grade under. I recycle and with the cost of media mail being reasonable I believe more packing less breaking.
