I BELIEVE GRADING IS VERY PERSONAL AND PEOPLES EXPECTATIONS DIFFER. IT’S AN EDUCATED OBSERVATION IVE MADE OVER MANY YEARS BUYING AND SELLING RECORDS AND IS NOT MEANT TO CAUSE ANY OFFENCE.

This is the original 1st pressing of their classic DEBUT LP released in 1977 on STIFF records.

This is the Ultra rare MISPRESSED version with EDDIE & THE HOT RODS on the rear of the sleeve!

A true legendary PUNK rarity and only 2000 of these got out at the time so super hard to find now!

Comes in a NON-LAMINATED sleeve as opposed to the regular pressing which has a fully laminated sleeve.

The ERRATUM sticker was removed by the original owner.

CONDITION AS FOLLOWS!! (This is my humble opinion from 35 years experience)

SLEEVE is VERY GOOD+ ( some edge wear here and there but nothing serious. See photos)

VINYL is VERY GOOD+ (has some hairlines etc but nothing major and plays through well)

✳️FOR YOU INFORMATION: RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE/DISCOGS GRADING SYSTEM. ( Please read below before bidding)✳️

*MINT - (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

*NEAR MINT (NM or M-) Vinyl. A nearly perfect record. A NM or M- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

*VERY GOOD+ VG+) Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Excellent.

*VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

*GOOD (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

*FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

*POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD’s and CASSETTES As a general rule CD’s and Cassettes either play perfectly – in which case they are in Mint condition – or they don’t, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD’s are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
